Jacob has now completed 4 weeks of the academy!  The PT is starting to wear on him physically as he is now fighting off shin splints, but we are pushing the ice, ibuprofen, stretching & massage. He's doing really well overall though. Aided by carpooling, he has developed a friendship with a fellow cadet & believer from RR. It is nice to have someone alongside you, going through the same drills, same tests, same scenarios with whom you can encourage and support. Thank you all for your prayers! The Lord is sustaining him!

As far as the house in Edgewood, things haven't really changed. We returned with our parents to look at it, and have spent lots of time going over finances with our friends at Indigo Mortgage. However, a slight obstacle in finding a lender to approve a "unique" home has delayed things. We are still considering making an offer & appreciate your prayers.


I took some candid photos of my friend's 11 month old baby girl last week. She is wonderfully sweet and adorable!! This is one of my favorites....
