Week #7 is Full of Surprises

We are halfway through week #7! The PT is wearing on all the guys, as they jokingly (but seriously) pass the large bottle of ibuprofen around during breaks and every cadet takes a few.... J is hanging in there! Please continue to pray for the Lord to sustain him for 7 more days of PT and the written/physical testing next week in Socorro.

Jacob surprised me with 2 gifts this week! A new 6.5 quart, BLUE dutch oven for soups, stews, roasting chicken, bread, Beef Bourguignon, etc! Isn't it pretty? I've been wanting one for a long time, but for some reason, stores mostly sell them in red. He found a blue one for me at Sam's Club.

The 2nd surprise was the Deluxe Blue-Ray Edition of "The Sound of Music"! :) One, I didn't have a copy of the movie at all until now. Two, all the extra footage and bonus stuff is really cool because we took the Sound of Music tour while we were in Salzburg, Austria and recognize many of the places they filmed. We've even heard a few of the stories before. It's so fun watching though! Thanks babe!

Here's the latest from the garden... it continues to give us zucchini every week, and our tomatoes are finally thriving (after removing 2 huge caterpillars from the plant --- yes, J had to do it)! ;-p It's so nice to get fresh vegetables from the backyard!
