Sorry for the delay in updating.... you will see why below. From the beginning!
Ok, well we were supposed to hear back from the seller by Sunday at noon. Then his realtor (who was on vacation in HI for the weekend) said that was not enough time & requested Tuesday at noon - an extra 48 hrs to decide. As Tuesday evening approached, we still had not heard anything. Then our realtor emailed us to let us know the seller had received a 2nd offer that was better than ours. Unless we could immediately respond with a much higher offer (at or above the asking price), it was over. The seller accepted the other buyer's offer and we are, for the 3rd time, staying put.
We are both disappointed because we really, really loved this house. But we know that the Lord is sovereign and His ways are much higher than ours! And we can praise Him for that!
Enjoyed the holiday weekend off together... Spent Labor Day up in SF playing with big (& very little) toys.....
