Okeydokey folks... as you know, pediatric cancer holds a special place in both our hearts. This year, CureSearch is holding their first fundraising walk in Albuquerque! Jacob and I have created a team, and invite you to walk with us!!

"CureSearch Walk celebrates and honors children whose lives have been affected by children’s cancer, while raising funds for clinical trials research sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and conducted by the Children’s Oncology Group. This group of medical professionals treats more than 90% of children with cancer at over 175 hospitals (including UNMH) in the United States. Jacob was one of those kids! These experts provide world-class care in communities across the country.
Every day, 36 children are diagnosed with children's cancer – 7 of these children will not survive. Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children. Although the cure rate is now 78% – up by 40% in the last 20 years – and Jacob is cancer free again, it is not good enough.
Our goal is a 100% cure rate!"
