Familiar Waiting

Sitting in the UNM cancer center's waiting room is something we've become quite familiar with. Jacob is getting a chest XRay as part of his routine scans every 3 months. He had his MRI on Wed night. We are expecting with great hope that things are once again "all clear" and we'll be doing this same routine in February. However, each visit brings a new "familiar" knot in your stomach as we fight off the "What if...?" Regardless of what may come, we must hold onto the unchanging and unwavering character of our great God & Father. He loves us and is always faithful. The outcome is ultimately in His hands.
