The Beginning of March

Sorry I've been slacking and haven't posted any updates for awhile....

Not much has changed in the past 2 weeks. We went to see Dr. V once just for a quick checkup on J's incision. They are happy that it is healing and told us to keep doing what we're doing for now. It has healed to 2x3cm (once 5x9cm inside). Drainage is looking good and slowing a tad. Hoping that the next week brings some closure & the end of packing bid (twice a day). Otherwise, J is recovering well with no other complications. Praise the Lord! 

In other news, we took a short trip (overnighter) to CO this week to visit our dear friend, Tina. Once talked about as the best Thai food in Albuquerque, she recently left the UNM BSU to pursue her own cafe in Pueblo. Tina's Riverwalk Cafe will hopefully be opening next week with cards, gifts, snacks, a variety of drinks, hot dogs & Thai food!!! Please keep her in your prayers - business, Godly friends & local support, guidance, faith, and patience. 

Also, we are proud to announce that we are godparents!!! :) Katie & Dave have given us the honor of being Alyx's godparents. We celebrated her baby dedication at Calvary Baptist Church last Sunday in SF. She is almost 2 months old!!!
