On Thursday all 5 of us crammed into a taxi and headed over to the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty - Gyeongbokgung Palace. After a dozen times, it's really not hard to pronounce anymore. We caught a bit of the "changing of the guards" and explored the vast area for about 3 hours. It drizzled a misty light rain on and off all morning but we were still able to enjoy the beautiful architecture. We saw several Korean young women walking around in traditional hanboks and took a few photos with them which made Lily happy. Without the Korean princesses, she probably wouldn't have lasted as long as she did.
