Annyeong (Hello) from Korea

After two long days of travel, we are finally here in Seoul! It's been so surrreal (is this really happening?!?). Minor glitches like Jacob getting left at the airport for over an hour in Seattle due to the hotel shuttle, the door breaking temporarily on our Delta flight to Seoul, a seat "upgrade" that broke up our party of 5, and Lily being terrified of airplane toilets kept things interesting lol. Thankfully no huge issues and our long 12hr flight actually ended up being closer to 10 1/2 due to tail winds and such!!! Praise God for His mercies! Lily overall traveled great - almost better than I did haha. She took a two hour nap in the middle of the flight and then with enough junk food she was happy & hyper, with intermittent obstinate & stubborn periods, until 7pm local time (aka 2am NM time)!!

We had a Jumbo Taxi waiting for us at the Incheon International Airport to take us to our hotel in central Seoul. Our driver Mr. Kim was very kind. We ate some yummy fried dumplings from a little hole in the wall around the corner, in Insadong, and were ready for bed. It's 3am here but I am awake so I decided to post real quick on my phone (so please excuse any typos!).

Our appointment at ESWS is at 10am local time so for all of you in MST, please PRAY @ 5pm today (Sunday)!!!! Pray for Gideon to recognize and warm up to playing with us quickly. Pray that Lily would be a helpful playmate not a jealous sister. Pray that the short 60 min we have with him would feel longer!!! Pray that we will have a sweet, wonderful interaction with both the foster mother and social worker and they will help answer our questions. Pray that this FIRST time meeting our son would be so sweet, memorable and special! I can hardly believe we are finally gonna meet him... after reading his updates and "seeing" him grow from across the world for the last year.... the day is finally here!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for your love, support and faithful prayers!!!! We couldn't be doing this without our "village".
