Apparently this is his favorite song right now, which is funny because I used to sing a similar song called "Baby Shark" with the children at Summer Day Camp 10+ yrs ago!!! Lol!
We are slowly chipping away at the LONG list of things we need to get done for Gideon, our trips, our home, etc. One of things I did this week was email SWS, another adoption agency in Seoul - through which I was adopted. We are hoping to coordinate with their post-adoption services and while we are in Korea, tour the agency that brought me to my parents many years ago.
Also, we are ordering an Adoption Journal/Memory Book to take with us on the first trip and give to the Foster Mother. It will contain several pages of questions w/Korean translation for her to fill out about Gideon, the home he has been in, his "firsts", preferences, photos & anything she would like to tell him. We will pick it up when we take custody on the 2nd trip and have it translated so we can learn more about him and share some special memories as he gets older. You can check it out at this Etsy shop!
As soon as we get a date, we will start booking our travel arrangements, most likely flying internationally out of San Francisco. 5/25 Our case was submitted for a court hearing
6/2 The court sent notice to the birthmother
6/12 The birthmother replied
... Now just waiting for our court date!!!
