Our appt with the surgeon went well this morning! The doc was pleased with how J's incision is healing and says it is good enough to move forward! Praise the Lord! We scheduled the next (& hopefully last) surgery for Monday, June 14th. It will be outpatient again, this time at OSIS, and about the same invasiveness as previous operations. We were concerned about all the complications that previously arose, related to drainage & infection, but the doc is not expecting there to be any problems this time. One week after surgery we will have a follow up appt. If the tissue pathology comes back clean i.e. no cancer cells then J is done!
