Jacob, Meghan and Lily are excited to announce that we have been matched with a little boy!!!! We have completed most of the paperwork to fully accept a child that our social worker emailed us about last month. Due to privacy issues, we are not allowed to post his photo online or share it publicly. But we have seen pictures, watched videos, read medical records, and reviewed progress updates telling us that HE is doing GREAT!!!!
We have decided to give him the name, Gideon. He is 10 months old and very healthy. We are SOO excited to finally have a face and a name to pray for now. The agency tells us that it could take anywhere from 12-15 months to bring him home due to the inconsistency of the Korean government in processing adoption requests. However, we believe in a God who is bigger and are praying that Gideon will get to come home sooner!!!!
God has already provided so much and we are only $3,000 away from meeting our acceptance goal of $23,950! Then we just need to raise our travel money and post-placement/legal fees (totaling ~$10,000). If you are interested in supporting our family, you can go to our fundraising site below!
