Time for leaves falling, temperatures dropping, scarves and boots, family potlucks, dressing in layers, holiday cards, cozy warm fireplaces, store sales, decorations, and especially pie baking!
Enjoyed our annual family tradition of baking pumpkin pecan pies... This year with my soon-to-be-new-sister-in-law Nina! We embarked on a new experiment of MINI pies! Yep, you read right. All the delicious goodness in a smaller, higher crust-to-filling-ratio!!!! We learned a few things along the way, but overall they were a success! (And so was this amazing pie crust recipe, thanks Shannon Qualls)!!!!
