We sat in this courtroom for about 5 minutes total and then it was done. All the forms, waiting, fees, correspondences with our attorneys, birth family drama.... all of it was over. It culminated in Lily being made our daughter in the only way that was missing -legally- by Judge Parnall in court this morning. A few comments and decrees by the Judge and we were done. It was so shockingly easy that we were a little hesitant to get up and leave. Really? That was it?
Yep. Here we are with the Judge. A pretty happy bunch, I'd say.
