Where’s all this money going anyway?

First, we want to thank each and every person that has so generously donated money towards helping us start our family! We are so blessed to see God's faithful provision through this process already and appreciate the part that you played in it. In order to stay accountable and inform people of where their donated money is going we have the fees listed below and we will post updates as the process continues.

• Adoptive Parent Education- $40 Paid: 1/31/12
• Fingerprints for Jacob and Meghan- $70 Paid: 3/2012
• NM CYFD Background Checks for J&M- $66 Paid: 3/2012
• Homestudy Agency Application- $350 Paid: 10/13/11
• Homestudy- $1,400
• Domestic Program Fee- $15,000 includes:
• $500 [Child & Birthparent Fund]
• $4500 [services for birth mother when matched]
• $10,000 [Placement Fee when child is placed with us]
• Jacob and Meghan - Physicals $80 Paid: 9/12/12
• Adoptive Parent Attorney & Court Fees- $2000 (services donated)
• Birthparent Counseling Fee- $300
• Post Placement Report- $300
• $600+ Birth Family Legal Fees

       These fees are to the best of our knowledge at this point in time. Anything can change. And there are fees that are entirely unknown at the moment. We will update when anything changes or gets added.
