Double Acceptance

    1. Yesterday Jacob got the call from the FD letting him know that he got nto Paramedic School!!!!!! Woohoo! He was quite relieved and excited. It will be a very busy season, but whatever God brings us to, He will carry us through!

     2. We made an offer on a house yesterday as well.... which was accepted! Craziness. Of course it's not final or official yet, as there is still lots of paperwork to complete but the owner agreed to our offer and we are starting the process of buying our first home! Wow. What a season of wonderful changes! Not to mention the idea that we could be parents by the end of the year as well. Haha oh dear... that's a HUGE change, but one thing at a time. We weren't really looking seriously at buying a house right now, but God opened up this opportunity and it seems amazing!

   Let me clarify - we are not moving away from ABQ. This one-story house is in the Uptown area, about 1900 sq ft with 3 BR, 2 car garage, nice grass in the backyard, hardwood floors in much of the house, 2 living areas, & a good sized kitchen with the potential for being exactly what we want. It is solid, even though it's an older home, but still needs a lot updating.... painting, baseboards, light fixtures, etc. Anyone with electrical, construction, remodeling, or woodworking skills who wants to jump in, let us know! We could really use your help as we will attempt to do as much work as possible on our own to save money. We don't know what date we will close, but please pray that everything will go smoothly in the coming weeks. Oh, and we will post pictures of course, once we know that it is official. ;)

PS - Happy Anniversary to my parents! Congratulations on celebrating their 32nd year of marriage!!!! And also to Jacob's parents whose anniversary is tomorrow!
