This morning, we took a hike out to the "Decalogue". David, Jacob and I drove out to the Los Lunas exit, then headed west about 20 min. We parked in front of the landfill entrance and started hiking into the hills. If you don't know what you're looking for, you wouldn't know it was there. About a mile in & up, we came across a large stone, engraved with an abridged version of the Ten Commandments in ancient Hebrew with a few Greek letters (supposedly -- I do not read Hebrew so therefore I cannot declare with 100% certainty). Here is a website with some more information on the Los Lunas Decalogue.

It was fun exploring, rock scrambling and just hanging out with my brother. He's often so busy we don't get to talk much! David is now halfway through the 4yr PharmD program at UNM's School of Pharmacy. He works as a Pharmacy Intern at Albertson's, is a T.A. for 1st year students, and volunteers with Healthcare for the Homeless, all the while keeping up with the intense academic demands of pharmacy school. Wow!
